I suspect that Linda's scenes had been greatly reduced because her publicised insomnia and exhaustion had affected her performance, even causing her to break down on the set. Conversely, Fala's role was expanded to fill in the gap, by quite a bit, because Fala has expressed high hopes of being nominated for best actress and/or favorite actress for psl. So Linda's loss is Fala's gain. We'll see -- note: this is just my speculation. As been noted, most of PSL's reports mentioned Fala more than Linda esp. during its production.

ReplyDeleteLinda and Fala both share the lead. Fala already had high hopes for this character even since the costume fitting.
I don't think Linda's parts were cut, it's just that Linda had a very difficult time during the filming of "Pu Song Ling". Her character has to remember medical terms and she also has to fight. She was also busying working on her album. Therefore, she was suffering from insomnia and exhaustion. That is why Steven had to stick up for her saying TVB does not know how to organize her schedule. :)
