Golden producer Lau Ka Ho held a 50th anniversary banquet in Tsuen Wan [last] night. Apart from his wife, Mui Siu Ching, and TVB executives Virginia Lok and Ho Lai Chuen, TVB artistes also attended to congratulate him, including TV kings and queen Kenneth Ma, Ruco Chan, and Lin Xia Wei, et al.
Lin Xia Wei expressed that she made a special trip back to Hong Kong from Mainland. She has recently been busy filming the new series 《大生意人》 in Hengdian; it is very challenging having to film in 40-degree weather in ancient costumes. She said, "A lot of people also reminded me about taking precautions against heat stroke, so I also brought medicine and ice packs".
Lin Xia Wei Is Not Nosy About Chen Xiao's Rumoured Change in Marital Status
Lin Xia Wei revealed that her opponent, Chen Xiao, in the series is a former classmate at the Central Academy of Drama. They have not had a get-together for a long time since they graduated in 2009. Collaborating with a good friend is hard to come by, so they did make plans to have dinner together before starting work. Asked if she was concerned about Chen Xiao's situation, as he is rumoured to have a change in his marital status, she said, "We also just talk about the series when we have dinner. Kenneth Ma Promises His Wife to Walk Hand in Hand in the Park
Kenneth laughingly said that he has to learn from Producer Lau Ka Ho because he and Mui Siu Ching are a model couple; not only did they have successful careers and a happy marriage, but they are also good at raising their son. Their son has become a legal professional and also previously served as a consultant for the series "Speakers of Law". He mentioned that he is currently busy filming "The Queen of Castle" in Foshan. Recently, he took the opportunity to take his daughter, Quinta, to Mainland during her summer vacation so that they could spend some family time together.

Lau Ka Ho described his 50 years of hard work in the TV industry as having experienced a magical journey.
