'TV King' Kenneth Ma was originally scheduled to film a lawyer series produced by Chan Chi Kong in September; however, because TVB Chairman Thomas Hui has given an order for the scripts of new series to be approved by a team before deciding whether filming can commence, the start of filming has now been tentatively postponed for one month. Kenneth revealed that he is currently filming "Stealth Team" and will film until the end of the year, and has not received any notice about another series. He thinks that it is a good thing to have specially assigned people to review the scripts: "It is a good thing that the company is also tidying up the scripts before filming commences for each series. Every actor wants to shoot the scripts of series that are good. If there is a group of people to review the scripts and to see whether there is anything to tidy up, having most of the scripts ready before each series starts is helpful to the shoot and is good for the actors".
Also affected is the beauty pageant series produced by Chan Kiu Ying, which was originally scheduled to start work at the end of this month but has also been halted. When asking Jessica Kan, who has a part in this series, she admitted that she had also received a notification: "I received a notification from [my] manager. For the time being, have to wait for news, so [my] schedule has freed up. I am also not clear about other things". She frankly said that, as an actor, she is also very passive...waiting for the company's arrangement.
