《迷》 "Lost" Costume Fitting
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Date: May 17, 2016
Temporary Chinese title: 《迷》
Pinyin title: Mai
Temporary English title: "Lost"
Producer: Amy Wong
Attending Cast: Kevin Cheng, Kristal Tin, James Ng, Winki Lai, Yvonne Ho, Sam Tsang, May Chan, Stephen Ho, Parkman Wong, Tyson Chak, Lisa Lau, Fung So Bor, Gary Chan, Gary Tam, Becky Lee, Kelvin Yuen, Ho Chun Hin, Lee Kai Kit, Derek Wong, Eddie Ho, Alan Tam, Hoffman Cheng, Raymond Lo, Alex Lam, Vincent Wong, Chun Kai Wai, Tony Yee, and Joan Lee.
Time: 12:30
Place: Tseung Kwan O TVB City Studio One Common Room
- The theme of the series uses a lighthearted method of expressing bizarre incidents.
- The series will have three lines: Kevin Cheng who plays a cop, Kristal Tin who works at a newspaper office, and King Kong who plays a silly thief. The three lines are all linked with one another and have a close relationship. In the first ten-plus episodes, the three lines do not know one another. In the middle of the series, the three main lines will finally meet one another, discovering that they have already seen one another but had failed to meet many times.
- Kevin will play Man Kiu Pak (萬喬柏), an upright cop who does things slower than others and thinks things thoroughly. He became a cop due to luck, even being promoted to an Inspector of Police. He is a timid cop who would cower whenever he encounters dangerous matters, but fortunately got promoted. He works in the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau. His elder brother and sister-in-law suddenly died, leaving their daughter, Winki Lai, so the uncle and niece have since relied on each other, becoming each other's only relative. He knows that Winki cannot lose her uncle, so he always thinks things very thoroughly before taking action, which also makes it seem as though he does not dare to do anything like a little man. He is called 「萬Sir」.
- Kristal will play Kai Wing Yin (計穎妍), an assignment editor who works at a newspaper office. Although she works in such a positive industry, she secretly does illegal dealings because of her lifestyle. She is a selfish and timid character. She is an intellectual who firmly believes that knowledge can change one's fate. She is a single mother. When she was younger, she had a daughter with her ex-husband, but her ex-husband has already passed away, so she raised her daughter alone. Because of her daughter, she goes down the gloomy side. At the end, she does things that are quite insane; to protect herself, she hurts those who had trusted her. She and James Ng have a mentor-mentee relationship. She and Kevin later develop feelings for one another; he does not know about her illegal dealings, so he helps her a lot, but they are actually on opposing sides. In the first 15 episodes, Kristal and Kevin encounter one another but do not actually meet; it is not until episode 16 that they have partnering scenes.
- King Kong will play Cheung Hak (張克), a Mainland person who goes to Hong Kong to obtain a Hong Kong identity card. He is originally someone who abides by the law, but in order to raise money for surgery for his younger sister, May Chan, he becomes a thief. He and May are poor siblings who go through adversity. He, Louis Yuen, and Tyson Chak are silly thieves who became thieves because of their lifestyle; they will create a lot of humourous sparks.
- James will play Lam Ka Wing (林家榮), a hot-blooded reporter who seeks the truth. He is Kristal's subordinate. He has a romantic storyline with Winki; they come to have feelings for each other in time.
- Louis will play Lau Chau (劉秋).
- Tyson will play Kwan Kai (關溪).
- Winki will play Kevin's niece. She is Kristal's subordinate. She and James go from being colleagues to being a couple.
- Jessica Kan will play Ngai Lok Yi (倪樂兒), Kristal's daughter. She is very stubborn and selfish, and has a fiery temper.
- Becky Lee will play Kristal's workplace rival.
- Derek Wong will play two characters: twin brothers in which elder brother 「大頭B」 is a gang leader, while younger brother Chan Wah (陳華) is a businessman.
- Hoffman Cheng will play a CID who investigates cases with Kevin.
- Toby Chan will play Kevin's girlfriend.
- Marcus Kwok will play a doctor.
FYI: The official English title of this series is "Destination Nowhere".
Personal Note: Kevin Cheng and Kristal don't have scenes with each other for at least ten-plus episodes?!

Kenneth Ma & Natalie Tong on "Big Boys' Club"
Part 1
Part 2
Related post: Kenneth Ma Wants to Buy a Flat, Natalie Tong: 'You Do Not Even Have a Wife'
Personal Note: When talking about the strict dialogue in "ICAC Investigators 2016", Penny said that every colleague says that Ma Ming is the most incredible at memorizing a script, and then Natalie chimed in by saying that mistakes would not happen to Ma Ming.
Ha ha.... Ma Ming saying that he would buy a hundred bras for his future wife after Penny complained about his own wife having too many! :P

Lau Ka Ho Returns with Two Series: Nurturing Newcomers
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Golden producer Lau Ka Ho attended '2016 First Half Outstanding Employee Awards Presentation' in TVB City. When 'Golden Producer' Lau Ka Ho was asked when he would have a new series releasing, he said, "Just returned to the company. Now organizing manpower. Will be filming two 40-episode series. One is the modern series 'Heart of Greed III', and the other is the ancient series 'Deep Palace Scheme'. Now penning the scripts. Expect to start working seven or eight months later. (Original actors filming?) The majority is, but some have left. Also have to nurture newcomers. Lee Heung Kam also cannot film due to her current health condition. (It is rumoured that Ngo Ka Nin recommended himself?) I will not openly say the name. There are many actors who have said that they want to take part. For me and Mui Siu Ching, it is a confidence booster".
Regarding being on an equal footing with Catherine Tsang after returning to TVB, Lau Ka Ho intentionally avoided mentioning it: "Don't say these things. Everyone wants to raise the quality and film the series well. Should not compare. Catherine also works hard. Have to really thank Mr. Norman Leung. Gave us a farewell four years ago, and also welcomed us when we came back...very warm. (Is the production fee for filming series greater now?) Have to see whether it is a necessity. The script is the most important. The script is a series' foundation. The script cannot be useless. Using money cannot put it together. (Not enough siu sangs and fa dans?) No. Cannot say it like that. TVB still has many series filming. The later tiers are moving up. (Will you look for superstar outsiders?) Mainly using original actors first. Must look at whether the role requires it first, and then make the arrangement".

"Over Run Over" Theme Song (Tracy Chu Live Version)
"True Lovers" - Tracy Chu
Repeat *

Tavia Yeung Hopes to Bring Child Along to Do Charity in the Future; Ron Ng Cooking to Celebrate Mother's Day
CREDIT IF REPOSTED
Tavia Yeung and Ron Ng attended an Oxfam event today. Tavia expressed that she is leaving having a baby to fate. Children are gifts from heaven. If she were to have a child one day, she hopes to bring him or her along to let him or her know that the world has many unfair social issues and family problems. If there is an opportunity, would also want to bring her child along to take part in charity events to let him or her understand that blissfulness is not a certainty.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Tavia hopes that husband Him Law, who is promoting in Mainland, is able to make it back to Hong Kong today so that the two families can celebrate together tomorrow. She said, "I really like liveliness. Gathering together for dinner and playing together...also happier when taking pictures". Ron also plans to celebrate Mother's Day at home: "Spending it with my elder sister and my mom. (You are cooking?) I frequently cook because my mom often pretends to not know how to cook. Seafood, etc. are foods that I cook".

"My Dangerous Mafia Retirement Plan" Theme Song MV
"Line of Fire" - Fred Cheng
Repeat *(*)
