[Rebecca Zhu], who has not filmed a series in over a year, was previously confirmed to partner Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang, et al. in performing in the grand production "Rosy Business IV". At the time, she even planned to further study up on acting to prepare for her return to the series realm. However, it was later rumoured that the investors had pulled out, and coupled with the pandemic situation, the start of the series was repeatedly postponed, and was even rumoured to have gotten scrapped!
It is reported that Eric Tsang has recently taken over TVB's drama department, replacing the former Deputy General Manager Felix To as the decision-maker. He has immediately decided to revive "Rosy", which starts filming in March of next year, but the investment amount has been greatly reduced accordingly. Instead of the entire series doing location filming in Mainland, it has been changed to just doing outdoor filming in Mainland for a month; the rest of the scenes will be left to be completed in Hong Kong. As for the cast, there is also a slight change. Rebecca was originally assigned to play Wayne's younger sister, developing a life-and-death romance with Him Law; however, now, the candidate for the role has become 'vacant and not yet confirmed'. In other words, Rebecca will not be collaborating with Wayne, et al. this time, and her comeback is not within the foreseeable future. Him has even become an 'orphan' because of this, and it is unknown which female star he will be pairing up with.
