- The series is a co-production between Youku and TVB.
- The series talks about many juvenile court cases.
- Charmaine Sheh will play Yin Wai Chi (言惠知), a judge. She is a career woman. She has a lot of dialogue.
- Patrick Tam will play Yau Kwong Ching (邱光正), a prosecutor. He is Charmaine's ex-husband.
- Alice Chan will play Ko Suk Wah (高淑樺), a lawyer. She has a lot of professional dialogue, as there are many court scenes, basically having one or two cases every episode. She and Charmaine were classmates who studied law together; however, due to a case, they become rivals. She and Sam Lau are mother and son; due to being busy with work, she has no time to spend with her son and can only satisfy him materially.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Cheng Siu Man (鄭邵文), am ambitious young judge. He is a steady character; there are no humourous scenes. He has a romantic storyline with Joey Thye.
- Benz Hui will play Hui Si Yi (洪思義).
- Mark Ma will play Ching Yui San (程睿燊).
- Joman Chiang will play Cheng Siu Ling (鄭邵玲), a probation officer. She is rather sentimental and delicate.
- Joey will play Lam Nga Ching (林雅晴), a character who is rather serious but also has a bright personality.
- Annie Man will play a mother. She already appears in the first scene. She is a very miserable character. A lot of her scenes are crying scenes. When she appears, her son has already died.
- Leonard Cheng will play a scaredy-cat prosecutor.
- Ronny Lay will play Lui Kwong Mo (雷光武), a barrister. He is Alice's pupil.
- Felix Lam gets buried alive.
- Lok Ka Ka will play the daughter of Charmaine and Patrick.
- Sam will play a male character with a smart background.
