Artistes Raymond Lam and Ron Ng were guests today on the talk show "Mayanne Blah Blah Blah" hosted by Mayanne Mak. Raymond pointed out that he had worked with Mayanne in the series "Line Walker: Bull Fight". In addition, [he] and Ron were able to match their schedules, and also wanted to congratulate Mayanne for winning the award for 'Best Programme Host' earlier, so immediately agreed upon getting invited.
Raymond revealed that, this time, the theme of the programme is mainly talking about how his 25-year brotherhood with Ron has been maintained: "Actually, these 25 years, our onscreen collaborations are really not considered a lot, but we have a lot of contact in private. When he and I get along with each other, we also have the same opinions a lot of the time...have never had disagreements. (Do [you] sometimes feel that he has a lot to say?) Well, would not. I like that he has a lot to say ". Ron continued saying, "Actually, to maintain a friendship, there are a lot of things that [you] also have to accept. For example, out of the ten fingers, some are long while others are short. Everyone also has flaws and strong points, so why would I not look at his strong points? I like him like that".
Ron said that he and Raymond have known each other for 25 years since the training class. Being in the same frame in the programme this time is hard to come by; a lot of memories came to mind. Asked if [he] is worried about being asked by Mayanne about his love matters, he laughingly said that it is not his first day in the industry, so [he] will not be easily tricked into talking: "If anyone asks, I will tell them to watch the news. In short, work comes first. Don't have much time for dating. If really dating, then have to sacrifice the time for sleep". Then [he] changed the topic and expressed that he has been working in different places recently and had just returned to Hong Kong from Malaysia. When it was mentioned that, when he was promoting a movie there, [he] wanted to shake hands with a female fan but was rejected by her. Ron explained, "I was slightly playing. [I] only held out [my] hand when she turned around. She could not see it, so it was not because she was rude, and it's not because I am not charming. (Few people reject you?) To be honest, there really are none".
In addition, Raymond said that there is an opportunity to film a series with Ron this year; it is currently in discussion. However, it depends on the schedule, script, and role. The two already sang the new song 《友情未完》 earlier: "The song had been in preparation for a year. Had this concept when we were shooting the variety programme 'Call Me by Fire'. Thought that the lyrics really fit our brotherhood". However, there are no plans to shoot an MV. Asked why [they] did not count in [their] other good brother, Bosco Wong, to sing with [them], Ron immediately asked, "He knows how to sing? I have never heard him sing".
Talking about Ron's rumoured girlfriend, HANA, recently signing a new record company, Ron immediately refused to continue with the topic after hearing this: "Going to talk about the song first today. (Do [you] know?) Know. Okay as long as she feels happy and comfortable. I will support [her] wherever she goes. (Do [you] also have an unfinished friendship with her?) Of course. We are friends".
