The 'friends of ATV' Philip Keung, Nina Paw, and Elena Kong" were originally set to film the TVB series "Low-Class First-Time Homebuyers"; unfortunately, there has been a casting change recently. After Chloe So was replaced by Rosita Kwok, it is known that Philip, although he had already worked for one day, decided to pull out in the end due to a scheduling conflict with a movie, and Andrew Lam, who has never filmed a series before, has taken over.
Andrew acknowledged this matter in an interview and does not mind being the second choice: "I have been a movie director. Would also find five actors for the roles. Whoever can do it would come!" He even made a cheesy joke, "If 'Hak Gor' (Philip) were doing it, then it would be blacker. I'm doing it, so it's funnier! (Did TVB's upper management Eric Tsang look for you?) Should be. He did leave me a message". He frankly said that this is his first time filming a series. Worried that it would be tough; however, having worked for three days now, it's more fun than [he] had imagined. Asked if there will be intimate scenes with Elena, his wife in the series, he laughingly said, "May be with Rosita or Nina. Have not filmed yet...don't know".
As for Philip, he also replied through his manager, acknowledging the matter that [he] had pulled out: "That's correct. (What movie will Philip be filming?) It is not convenient to disclose the details of the movie for the time being. Sorry! Should wait for the film company's notification. However, there's still a chance to work with TVB".
