TVB is currently broadcasting the series "Barrack O'Karma 1968". Netizens have been unravelling the mysteries non-stop, and it keeps [you] watching. Taking over this time slot is the urban fantasy series "Stranger Anniversary", produced by Lam Chi Wah and starring Joe Ma, Matthew Ho, Roxanne Tong, Alice Chan, et al., and is tentatively set to premiere on May 2nd.
In the series, Joe plays two characters; it is like acting with himself. There were many times where the dialogue and actions had to be shot repeatedly, which was very difficult. Joe himself said that there would be confusion during the shoot; however, after post-production, believe that the effect will be very interesting. Joe, who is currently working in Mainland, said in an interview, "I am greatly looking forward to it. It's also my first time playing two characters by myself. Encountered many difficulties during filming, and it was also unforgettable because [I] have never had such an experience before. There were also some fight scenes where I fight with myself. There are a lot of things in it. I also really want to see the feeling that comes out from Producer Lam's post-production". This series is broadcasting after "Barrack"; both are series with fantasy themes. Asking Joe if he was afraid of viewers getting sick of it, he said, "The meaning of our fantasy is not the very mind-twisting fantasy; it's just that two people who look exactly the same appear. There is a lot of humour that will be brought out...is rather lighthearted. Believe that viewers will watch it very happily".
