Wong Cho Lam will be returning to TVB in April to film an ancient comedy, and will even be filming with new 'TV Queen' Sisley Choi and Owen Cheung, who has had a surge in popularity. Others taking part include Jeannie Chan, Christine Ng, et al. Having Cho Lam, the master of comedy, will surely bring happiness to everyone and create laughter. Regarding returning to TVB to film a series after many years, he frankly said in an interview with on.cc, "Yes! Catherine [Tsang] and I had already been discussing this project over a year ago! I roughly heard the idea...also very happy and very funny! Actually, everyone also has the sincerity to collaborate. Finally able to make it in [my] schedule to come back to film. Believe that everyone would definitely collaborate happily".
As for new 'TV Queen' Sisley, who has only filmed one ancient series, "Recipes to Live By" since entering the industry, she frankly said in an interview that making viewers laugh is the most difficult. She said, "If able to collaborate with Cho Lam, Owen, and Jeannie, it would certainly be a new attempt. I have worked with Owen many times but really have not tried it in ancient costume. I think that we would definitely be able to bring out a lot of new elements and create different sparks. As for Jeannie, although she and I are good friends, we really have not had so many partnering scenes. Plus, [I] have seen Cho Lam for work before but really have not collaborated before. I want to learn his kind of quick-wittedness and script-twisting techniques the most. A lot of fans also previously said that they look forward to me filming in ancient costume, so I really look forward to the entire matter". Speaking of it being relaxing when filming this series, she said, "Comedy is not easy! Making people laugh is very difficult. (Is it easy to make viewers cry or laugh?) Wa! Making people laugh and cry really has to rely on the plot to propel it. Both are very difficult. Making people laugh while crying or cry while laughing is the most incredible. (Owen has comedic potential?) He absolutely can".
As for Owen, who is currently busy filming "Fighting", admitted that he has not received any news, but speaking of collaborating with Cho Lam, he said, "Back then, we collaborated in 'Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk; afterward, there was none. If there is a chance, certainly want to film with him, but it is set in stone yet. I am also waiting for a notification". Speaking of working with Sisley again, he said, "We are great partners. Don't have to worry about what subject matter [we] are filming".
