The new release of Justin Lo's 《Ah Tin》 is a bit of a disappointment for me. First of all, I wasn't expecting that many fast songs to be on this album. The album only consists of ten new tracks and the duration is rather short. The length of the album is 39 minutes.
His first plug, "Didn't Lose Yet" (track 4), sounds like a stolen track from the American music scene. Composer Mark Lui needs to compose different styles of music. The line "I'll give my life to be near you in every way..." in his most recent plug, "Thirty Days", is similar to Aaron Kwok's "In the Name of Love." Maybe it is just me, but "Rich Lady" (track 5) reminds me of Kelly Chen's "Shoes, Shoes". I was expecting "Intoxication" (track 8) to be more rock because Justin composed it with Soler. Justin even used Soler's singing technique to complement the style of the song, but it is not fitted for Justin's voice. Justin should sing more songs where he is able to demonstrate his range of vocal skills just like in his debut album. With all that said, the recommended songs in this album include "Trust Me" (track 3), "Thirty Days" (track 1), "Mrs. Jak" (track 6), and "Miss World" (track 2).
