In the CNY movie "All's Well End's Well 2012", Louis Koo plays a construction worker who is spotted by Kelly Chen, who plays a photographer, to be a nude model. Before filming, Louis intensely pumped his muscles, and he also took pictures revealing his upper body. In the movie, landing on the cover of a magazine, the headline reads 'Pirated Raymond Lam'. This scene can be said to be sneering at the old news between Louis and Raymond because, when Louis switched to the big screen, Raymond, who resembled Louis, was being promoted by TVB, and he was packaged to be Louis' successor. Now, Raymond is already TVB's Dong Ka Siu Sang. Never thought that Louis would actually have a humourous response to such an old incident in "All's".

In the movie, Louis has a crush on Kelly. Aside from using his bad English to its fullest, [he] also used his electrifying eyes, causing the cold Kelly to also be touchy-feely.

TVB's "Special Duties Unit" Taking on Saturday Prime Time Slot to Go Against i-CABLE Olympics

"Psychological Warfare" is said to broadcast in the second season.

2012 is the war of the Hong Kong television industry. i-CABLE also has the sole broadcasting rights for the 2012 London Olympics, so TVB has arranged for grand production "Special Duties Unit" to first air on Sundays in June, and then air on Saturdays and Sundays in July. TVB's Vice Director of Programmes Ho Koon Chung said, "This [series] is 13 episodes. Each episode is 90 minutes long. It is Hong Kong's first televisions series about the SDU. The production cost of each episode is approximately $1,000,000, which is much more than other series".

Apart from "SDU", "War and Beauty II" and "Triumph in the Skies II" are also TVB's key series in 2012; however, they may not make it in time to broadcast this year. TVB will be releasing series to complement each season. The first season is 'Season of Love', which includes the series "Let It Be Love". The second season will have "The Boxing King" and "The Dazzling Dance of Chang'an". The third season (summer holidays) will be "Return to the Three Kingdoms". The forth season (the highly regarded anniversary series in recent years) already has a temporary arrangement; however, it cannot be revealed yet.

Personal Note: Funny how TVB comes up with a seasonal series schedule after airing "L'Escargot" during the festive period! 囧!

TVB already filmed a series about the SDU in 1989 called "Flying Squads", which starred Donnie Yen, and it only consisted of 15 episodes....

To welcome 2012's 'Season of Love', TVB is specially holding a 'TVB Top Ten Onscreen Couples Voting' so that viewers can vote for their most classic top ten onscreen couples through TVB Weekly, tvb.com, and TVB fun. The pair with the most votes will become 'My Favourite Supreme Onscreen Couple'. The results will be revealed on February 19th.

Personal Note: Because only one couple was chosen to represent each year, many classic pairings were left out (while some pairings wouldn't even be considered to be 'classic'). Especially surprised that the successful pairing of Michael Tao/Kenix Kwok in the "Detective Investigation Files" franchise was excluded (from the title of this poll, I automatically thought of them; they are also my favourite pairing of all-time); don't know why the pairing of Gallen Lo/Kathy Chow in "Plain Love" was selected instead.

Also surprised about the exclusions of Damian Lau/Liza Wang, Felix Wong/Barbara Yung, Gallen Lo/Maggie Cheung, Bowie Lam/Flora Chan, Louis Koo/Jessica Hsuan (their pairing in "Detective", in particular, was definitely more well-liked than Tim and Helen in "A Threshold of an Era"), and Julian Cheung/Charmaine Sheh.

Although "Square Pegs" was aired on December 30th, 2002, the majority of the series was aired in 2003, so it would make more sense for Ah Wong and Choi Fung to represent 2003. When "Triumph in the Skies" aired, the Sam-Belle and Vincent-Belle pairings were more well-received than Sam-Zoe....

Many of my favourite (and definitely deemed to be classic) couples are already out of the running, but I guess I can still vote for Bobby Au Yeung/Esther Kwan and Lawrence Ng/Ada Choi. ;)

Personal Note: Like that the "magic" segments were separated this time! :D

During the singing imitations, Louis, Johnson, and Cho Lam imitated Cammi Tse, Ken Choi, and Tony Leung respectively. Johnson sounded more like Andy Lau.... :P Saw Cho Lam's Weibo post earlier, and thought that he did resemble Tony; however, his Mandarin is better than Tony's.... :P

During the acting imitations, "Beyond the Realm of Conscience", "When Heaven Burns", and "Curse of the Royal Harem" were parodied. Funny how Cho Lam exaggerated Myolie's hyperactive lips! :P Also like the reference to the "bottle" bug! Ha ha.... ;)

Love "The Green Room" segment, especially Johnson's Leon Lai impersonation! Also funny how Louis imitated Hanjin's facial expressions! :D

Wayne Lai's nose was featured on this episode of "Nose Live".

This episode of "Toi Story" was funnier than the previous one, especially when Hungry was taking Handelababy through the birthing process. Found it quite hilarious that Johnson was unable to hold his laughter, and that he was laughing so hard that he was crying! :D "Attention, please! Please stand behind my yellow line. Thank you for your cooperation. Good night!" Ha ha.... Derek Kwok also made a special guest appearance during this segment.

Ha ha.... Now Johnson is singing children's songs in Dave Wang's crying voice.... :P

Filming for "The Great Eunuch", TVB's grand production in the coming year, began yesterday. Wayne Lai, Raymond Wong, and Raymond Cho, who play eunuchs, have already shaved their heads in preparation for over four months of filming. However, it is said that, some days ago, there was a sudden cast change; the role of Cixi was supposed to be played by Maggie Cheung, but it has been changed to Michelle Yim, who initially filmed the Sales Presentation for this series!

Reporters called producer Marco Law for an inquiry; he said, "Have already officially began filming. Michelle [Yim] is also a good choice, but [she] is currently in Mainland...will join the team to film later. Maggie didn't agree to film because of scheduling problems; this series will film until April of next year, which conflicts with her schedule. However, filming just began yesterday; the impact is not great". Michelle, who is in Wuxi, is not worried about having to film in Hengdian afterward, since she has been filming series in Mainland for the past year...already accustomed to it early on, and already played Cixi before, so not worried.

Personal Note: Following Ruco's withdrawal from the series, Maggie will also no longer be taking part. Perhaps it is because it would be quite taxing for Maggie to film two series consecutively, and even more so with "Eunuch" being an ancient grand production.

Definitely a plus to have Michelle in this series, but still have reservations toward Marco Law taking on the Qing Dynasty for the first time....

Personal Note: Glad to see FLS back!

The "magic" segment was hilarious because it was so stupid! Ha ha.... :D

Johnson's imitation of William So's "That Somebody" was quite good in the beginning, but he didn't really sound like him near the end.

Instead of airing live broadcasts of camera streams from places all around the world (i.e., "Earth Live"), "Nose Live" focuses on artistes' noses; this episode featured Ma Ming's nose. He he.... :P I can also see Michael Tse's nose when all of the noses were scanned. ;)

Louis as Deanie Ip and Johnson as Andy Lau in the trailer of "A Simple Life" was quite funny! Can't wait to watch the movie!

Cho Lam didn't sound like Chan Wing Yip during "The Green Room" segment; however, his gestures and facial expressions were quite spot-on. :D

Already saw a preview of Cho Lam singing "Super Stupid" like Liza Wang on "What the Face"....

"Sat in the City" has become "Toi Story"...hilarious as usual! :D Particularly liked the "Ah Man" reference.... :D

Louis didn't sound like Crowd Lu when he sang "I Love You", but thought that his singing was quite good there...probably his best performance yet! :D

Funny how Johnson sang happy Christmas songs in Dave Wang's crying voice! :D

Actually thought that Oscar Leung's team performed better....

TVB received ten complaints; one was unsatisfied with host Vincent Wong's performance, saying that he was not eloquent and fluent in speaking. The other nine were aimed at the results not meeting what the audience had hoped for, such that 'TV King' should have gone to Michael Tse, and that Myolie Wu should not have received 'My Favourite TV Female Character'. The Hong Kong Broadcasting Authority also received five complaints, as audiences thought that the outcome was unfair.

This year's awards ceremony averaged 38 points, and peaked at 41 points (when Nat Chan was presenting the award for 'Best Host').

Personal Note: Really liked this Sales clip...definitely nicely done in terms of the dialogue, the scenes, and the makeup. :)

As scriptwriter Chow Yuk Ming said, this series is definitely not a direct continuation of "War and Beauty", and it is also not a new story....

Did not expect Moses to be the actual Master Sun (i.e., Bowie's character)....
