Yue Jai Confesses to Yat Kin

In episode 13 of "The Hippocratic Crush" (which was aired on February 29th), Yue Jai expressed her feelings to Yat Kin.

FYI: It is said that February 29th is International Women Confession Day. On this day, females can boldly confess to the male, and, in principle, the male must accept. If the male does not accept, a certain amount should be given to the female to compensate for her sadness.

Personal Note: Embarrassing situation, but Tavia and Ma Ming did extremely well in this scene...so cute! :D Tavia's awkward laugh was priceless! :P Love this scene! :)

What a coincidence that Yue Jai's confession to Yat Kin was aired on International Women Confession Day, but he didn't give her anything even though he "rejected" her! He he.... :P

TVB siu sang Kenneth Ma attended an event in his new series "The Hippocratic Crush" doctor look. As a medical center's ambassador, he expressed that he hopes to endorse more health food products with his doctor image. When he was performing magic on stage, he made a mistake. When talking about the new series having decent ratings, Kenneth laughingly said that he and co-star Him Law will reveal nipples to celebrate if the ratings become even more successful. [He] also said that he does not mind revealing skin with 'Big-chested Him', as the two of them are of different routes...not worried about comparisons.

- The theme of the series will depict rumours within the palace. The story will be about how Kunqu opera artistes strive to survive in the Qing Palace. In June, there will be location filming in Hengdian and the Forbidden City. In July, there are plans to go to Nanjing to learn Kunqu.
- Sheren Tang will play Niugulu Ruyue/Rufei (鈕鈷祿‧如玥/如妃), a woman who considers the general interest. She is rather gentle and is not wicked at all. She does not reveal any emotion on her face. She will have a romantic storyline with Moses Chan such that they will have a spiritual connection.
- Ada Choi will play Buyamuqi Xiangling (布雅穆齊‧湘菱), a senior nanny who is responsible for telling subordinates to do feeding. She takes care of Sheren's son. She is a favourite of the empress. She is extremely tactful, and is smooth and slick in establishing social relations. She is a slick operator who can derive benefit from any situation. She will be involved in a love triangle with Moses and Sheren.
- Christine Ng will play Niugulu Yuanxiu/Chunfei (鈕鈷祿‧宛琇/淳妃), Sheren's younger sister. She is rather profound and unhappy, and is pure of heart and free from desire. She has pent-up hatred, and she constantly causes trouble for her elder sister.
- Moses will play Gao Liufei (高流斐), an opera artiste who later enters the palace.
- Kenny Wong will play Tong Jihai (佟吉海), a descendant of a fortune teller. Because of his father's miscalculation, the emperor imprisoned them. During his imprisonment, he became obsessed with fortune telling, which caused him to become psychotic. He will get manipulated by Christine Ng. Katy Kung will be forced to marry him, but he will have a romantic storyline with Christine Ng.
- Eddie Kwan will play Yun Qiuxian (雲秋絃), a Hua Dan (i.e., a Chinese opera artiste in a female role).
- Tracy Ip will play Shulan (書蘭), a nanny. She and Ada do not get along with each other. She is a villain.
- Christine Kuo will play Qianrui (芊蕊), a silly palace maid who serves Sheren. She is a rather simple person and is very loyal.
- Rachel Kan will play Erhe (爾荷), the head of the palace maids. She always accompanies Sheren.
- Alice Chan will guest-star as Guo Wanqing (郭婉清), a songstress. She and Moses grew up together. She will have a relationship with Moses.
- Wai Ka Hung will play Ma Xinman (馬新滿), a eunuch who is a player.
- Katy will play Buyamuqi Muduer (布雅穆齊‧木都兒), Ada's stepdaughter. She is a palace maid who later becomes the head of the palace maids. She does not smile much and is very serious.
- Vivien Yeo will play Zhang Yingqin (章映琴), Eddie's wife. She is a part of a troupe company.
- Rachel Poon will play a palace maid who serves Christine Ng.
- Raymond Cho will play Imperial Physician Yang.
- Kaki Leung will play Ruokui (若葵), an evil palace maid.
- Tina Shek will play Shujia Qiuwei (舒佳‧秋葦), a palace maid who has an optimistic and pure personality, and is curious and nosy.
- Snow Suen will play Xifei (曦妃).
- To Yin Gor will play Zhang Jusheng (章鞠笙), the head of a troupe company. He is Vivien's father.
- Stanley Cheung will play a chief eunuch.
- Steven Ho will play Ada's husband and Katy's father.
- Kelvin Lee will play a Hua Dan.

Singer Miriam Yeung, who is six-months pregnant, wore half-inch heels as a Film Festival Ambassador. She revealed that she has already gained 16 to 17 pounds, and that she is carrying a boy. However, because the sciatic nerve pain has made it difficult to take steps, she has plans to begin 'forbidding [herself] from going in and out' and resting after attending next month's premiere for [her] new movie. She, who has not been working at home, expressed that she has been watching movies and series to pass the time. Selena Li Reveals Being Secretly Admired by Kenneth Ma

Yesterday, previously rumoured TVB artistes Selena Li and Kenneth Ma attended a mall event. The pair did not avoid flirting with each other. Selena sang Joey Yung's song "Chihuahua"; apart from going on stage and giving flowers, he also imitated a chihuahua, making her happy! When Selena was being interviewed, she also revealed that she knew that Kenneth has had a crush on her for six or seven years...a thought-provoking relationship. Selena said, "I have a lot of fate with him. Our birthdays are only one day apart. On my birthday, I sent him a text message, telling him that I was having a birthday party at my house, but he didn't reply". At this time, the embarrassed Kenneth, who was beside her, immediately said, "I was working that day, so didn't reply".

When talking about withdrawing [her] shares from [her] makeup company because of TVB's pressure, Selena explained that that was not the case, and she also spoke kind words: "TVB always gives me good roles. I weighed the matter carefully before deciding to withdraw [my] shares". Previously, the makeup school was involved in some money matters; however, Selena emphasized that the share withdrawal was not for the sake of playing it safe.

Yesterday, as a rumoured couple partnership, Kenneth Ma and Selena Li attended a prize draw event. The two were very immersed on stage. When Selena was singing, Kenneth gave flowers and imitated the chihuahua in the song...extremely harmonious.

However, when reporters laughed at them for being a rumoured couple partnership, Selena immediately said that Kenneth has already had a crush on her for six or seven years, but when she took the initiative to leave a message for him on her birthday, [she] did not receive a reply; Kenneth embarrassingly explained that [he] was working throughout the night that day. Selena expressed that their birthdays are only one day apart (with her birthday being on February 12th, while Kenneth's birthday was a day later than hers), but said that they truly never started a relationship before, and also know that he is popular among the opposite sex; however, Kenneth laughingly said, "No, I also eat lemons. Everyone says that he or she will introduce girls to me, but didn't in the end".

When talking about reports regarding the beauty school in which Selena has an investment in having complaints about money deception, and that TVB has been pressuring Selena to withdraw [her] shares so that it would not affect [her] image, Selena expressed that she is indeed planning to withdraw [her] shares. However, [she] emphasized that TVB has never pressured her; she only feels that the company has given her many performing opportunities. On the other hand, she hasn't gone to the school for half a year; to avoid falling between two stools, decided to withdraw shares. When asked whether this brought loss, she said, "In the first year, I already made profit. Will now hand over the shares to a suitable makeup artist...hope that this will cause the school to improve even more".

As for it being said that Kenneth's new series "The Hippocratic Crush" has plagiarized TVB's old storylines, he expressed that he didn't take notice...only know that the first day had 29 points, which is considered to be not bad, and heard that the online feedback is also not bad. He believes that the said plagiarism should not be the surgical scenes, as there were two consulting physicians helping on the side during filming...were filmed according to reality.

Personal Note: Quite unfortunate that Selena will no longer be involved with Technique.... On the other hand, hope that TVB will give her better roles!

Nice to see Ma Ming and Selena at an event together...it's been a while!

Cute how Selena called out for Ma Ming to be her backup dancer (but he didn't come out on stage immediately because he was still doing interviews backstage)! :D
