There has been a number of movies and Mainland series revolving around the Chu-Han period recently, so not surprised that Tommy and Catherine both have plans to have Sales clips about Lu. If this series does film, it would be nice to see Gallen and Maggie work together instead....

Bowie Lam originally had an opportunity to take part in the first episode (directed by Dante Lam), but didn't do so because of a schedule conflict; however, he did some voice-over work for the series.

Haven't seen Nadia and Strawberry in a long time! :)

- The series will be based on a true story (i.e., Chongqing's Love Ladder).
- Maggie Cheung will play Ku San Yuet (顧新月).
- Moses Chan will play Miu Tin (苗天), a medicinal herb farmer. He falls in love with Maggie, who is eight years older than he is, and is a widow with children.
- Aimee Chan will play Tin Oi Tai (田愛娣), a tragic maid. She will be sold off to KK Cheung. She and KK fall in love with each other; however, after KK dies, she meets Kenny Wong.
- Joel Chan will play Lai Chai Man (黎濟民), an exaggerating businessman who does Chinese medicine wholesaling. In this industry, KK is the first brother, while Joel is always ranked second; however, he really wants to be the first brother.

- Edwin Siu will play Ho Sai Ho (賀世豪), a villain.

When the Chinese title of this series was revealed, knew that Maggie and Moses would be portraying an 'older wife, younger husband' relationship, but still quite difficult to digest the fact that Moses will be playing a much younger character than Maggie.
